A New One

This is a new painting in my "Sylvia" series, which is on my other website, www.lauriesartwork.com.

I think it's funny. I have to admit, the TV show is one of my guilty pleasures. I hate it and like it at the same time. The whole idea of finding a life mate through this television show is crazy, but on the other hand, why not?

The other thing that strikes me about this show is that all the women sort of look the same. They mostly all have long flowy hair and wear lots of makeup all the time. I would love to just once see a woman on there who was out of that mode!

So, I think it's obvious that it makes sense to me that Sylvia would be trying to get a rose from the bachelor.
